The PTFE comes in a roll as one long tube. The PTFE in the video is pre-cut, but to measure it from the roll of PTFE it is recommended to insert the PTFE like in the video and cut it so that there is an extra inch coming out of each end of the routing. Then at the end trim them with a razor so that at the base the PTFE is flush with the printed part, and at the top about a quarter inch sticks out.
